New Bohemia Music Festival organizers have created a partnership with the Harvester Group to implement an art component that will run parallel with the 2008 music festival, August 30, 2008.

The 1st Annual New Bohemia Music Festival took place in the summer of 2007.  The one-day festival filled 3rd Street SE, in the heart of the New Bohemia District, with a variety of great local music, food, and spectators.

The New Bohemia Music and Art Festival is having an open call for artists in the following areas:

	Stage Art
	Artists will be selected to design the “skin” around the structure and platform for the 5 outdoor festival band stages. Click here for submission form and details. Submission deadline is June 30, 2008.
	Art Parade
	The outdoor portion of the festival will conclude with a lighted art parade. Artists, performers, and designers are needed to create floats, placards, portable sculptures, spectacles, and street performances. Click here for submission form and details. Entry deadline is July 31, 2008
	Art on the Street
	Festival coordinators are looking for artists in a variety of art mediums that include an interactive element for audience members including (but not limited to), airbrushing, graffiti art, pottery, and metalwork. Click here for submission form and details. Submission deadline is July 31, 2008.
